About
We are a family business established for over 30 years offering domestic cleaning and a complete home help service. Spring Cleans, One off cleans, Help with moving house cleans, Regular weekly or fortnightly cleans and Home Help. (changing the bed, putting on laundry, ironing, cleaning, running errands, shopping...)
All our staff are DBS (police) checked. We have Full Public Liability Insurance.
Domestic Cleaning Services and Home Help.
At Westbourne Homecare we offer domestic cleaning services and home help. We've been in the business for over 30 years. We're local and we employ local staff.
Our services include all domestic cleaning/housekeeping tasks from the washing up to cleaning the bathroom to changing the bed and doing the ironing...we also do spring cleans, we help people when they're moving house (eg keeping the place clean for viewings, help packing boxes, final clean after the move, cleaning and unpacking at the new house...), we can also do your shopping and run your errands!
We have Full Public Liability Insurance and our staff are DBS checked (police checked).
Home help for independent living
Home help is provided to enable our clients to stay at home. This can be for any number of visits per week eg: 2 hours Mon, Weds and Fri. Or perhaps 2 hours once a week or 3 hrs once a fortnight. During their visit our staff can change the bed...put on the wash...do the ironing...hoover...clean kitchen...bathroom...dust and so on...go to the shops/run errands...then hang up the wash before they go...or prepare some lunch/dinner for later.

Home help and Housekeeping services
Need help changing your bed? Putting on the laundry? Doing the ironing? Our staff can do all this during their visit whilst doing the cleaning, dusting and hoovering. Perhaps you would like someone to do your shopping or to run errands for you?

Mum is at present having a respite period in a care home in Southbourne and whether or not she stays there or moves to another, sadly, I honestly don't think that going back to her home is an option anymore as she's not safe. As you can imagine this is a very difficult time for me but I would like to thank you for your very efficient service in the past, you never once were not able to get a cleaner to mum's which was very impressive. Also the wonderful Bridget, who I can't speak highly enough of, not only is she a good cleaner that just gets on with her job, but she has also been very caring and thoughtful towards my mother and I - always going the extra mile and texting me with any problems or concerns. You have a very good employee with Bridget, but I'm sure you know this! I will text Bridget myself to thank her - it's all quite sad, it feels like the end of an era.
