Reliance Scrap Metal are traders in ferrous and non-ferrous metals operating in the Poole, Dorset area since 1925 under the banner of Walter Shaw and Son. The name of Reliance Scrap Metal was registered in 1953, recovering, segregating and processing metals firstly in the Mannings Heath and Parkstone areas and more recently from a purpose built yard on the Nuffield Industrial Estate since 1971.

We are suppliers of all sized skips and apply NO CHARGES for delivery or collection. We operate a large fleet of skip, roll-on roll-off and articulated lorries to suit your needs and offer highly competitive rates on all your scrap metals, with payment by cash, cheque or self billing as required.

We service all your scrap metal needs, predominantly collection and recycling, throughout Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire counties, for a 40 mile radius, to the East as far as Christchurch, Southampton and Eastleigh, North to Salisbury, Andover and Warminster and West to Yeovil, Weymouth and Dorchester.

We are happy to offer advice, guidance and solutions to all your scrap metal and metal by-product worries, accommodating your requirements, however large or small.
