  I ordered a reconditioned throttle body from this company for a jaguar It cost £370 instead of £1100 for a new one. It arrived the next day vacuum packed and looking as new. It was fited and worked perfectly. However I did not get back the £45 deposit for return of the old unit. i wrote to the Credit Control address and recived a cheque for £45 within a week.

  Do not send any item to this company. They will charge you for a re-con or so call new part, and just send back the same unit with a Guarantee Void if removed sticker over the edges. Try to get a refund, well, just take a look at their reviews.

  Just a further thought; In any Court Case, apply to have the claimant's name changed to Jahangir Kazem, use cases quoted on the net where collection has proved problematic to justify request.

  Having been one of the few that managed to get their money back from this crook. A couple of poiters if you get caught. The guy's assets are all under his real name "Jahangir Kazem" Important if you get to the stage of using Bailiffs. His primary technique is intimidation, all of the court threats are meaningless, the counsel he sent to my case didn't even understand the problem, let alone what an ECU was. The company he quotes as having verified his findings does not exist. The killer argument in my case was that I offered to pay to have the unit examined by an independent expert under their supervision. Just a thought, every time his Solicitors are contacted it costs him money :-)

• BEWARE!

  We ordered a blank ECU and traded our damaged one towards the total price, the "new" ECU turned out not to be blank and so we returned it and were sent another "blank" one. This one also turned out not to be "blank", so we returned it, requesting a full refund...to no avail. We have rang Autotek a number of times (I challenge anyone to talk to a manager, they don't exist!) and any mail is to be sent to a PO Box! DO NOT TRADE WITH THIS COMPANY!

• Court Judgement

  People BEWARE we took this company to court for supplying faulty goods, won our judgement, and the court bailiffs at Bournemouth inform us we are one of many and have no hope of being reimbursed - DO NOT TRADE WITH J KAZEM & Autotek Electronics

  I have dealt with this company and left satisfied with the service. Ordered airflow meter in the morning, got it delivered next day. Brilliant! My problem was sorted out immediately. Feel grateful to the company! Thank you

• Illegal trading

  Beware this company will levy random 'service' charges if an order is cancelled, in contravention of the distance selling regulations 2000. They decided to keep 5% of the cost of an order that was never shipped as promised when I chose to cancel BEFORE shipment. Total theft.
