• Money before pet care

  I used this guy a few times when he was at Sring Road, and service was not to bad, since he moved premises the only care is "the money" not the pet, rough with the animals and for sure a lot more tests than needed and still get it wrong. If you love your pet avoid this guy

• LOVELY!

  Tom isn't everyones cup of tea,but as a vet there are few to top him.I think he deals with men better than women we are far to emotional for him and he is harsher now than he was 20years ago.Having said that if my animal was ill he is the one I want dealing with it .He and his troupe are fantastic .We have had to say goodbye to 4 dogs in the last 15years and each time he was great .One in particular was a difficult mastiff that had been very badly treated before we had him .Tom looked after him personally .As Dollar trusted no one outside of the family this was a brave task.One I will be forever grateful for.Others would have said put the dog down, but Tom dealt with it .So how anyone can say they won't deal with difficult cases is beyond me.Im straddled between Bournemouth and London now and will still use Springcorner as long as my dogs need them.I don't think you can find better!

• Very good value and caring treatment

  I've used Spring Corner for many years and have always found everyone there very caring and professional. I must admit I've always found Tom Spencer the owner very (rightly) proud of his surgery. His prices are so competitive and is very up to date. I've always found him to be very friendly and he's been a really good vet to us. All his staff: Receptionists, nurses and other vets have been brilliant and I'm just glad they're in Bournemouth! Very well done Spring Corner. May it long continue. Thanks Tom for providing such a great vet surgery! I can't speak highly enough.

  I have found that you will always be seen quickly and that they will make every effort to find a time to suit. I find the girls at reception and nurses sweet and helpful. The owner, however, is unfriendly, to the point of rudeness on some occasions, and has no patience with difficult animals or customers whom he, possibly, finds irritating. I have no doubt that he is a good vet, but needs to be kinder and more patient to the pet he is seeing, as well as a lot more friendly to its owner.Having spoken to others who use this surgery, I find they feel the same way as I do about the owner. It costs nothing to smile and be friendly and pleasant. I have yet to see him smile!! Some of the other vets I've seen there are friendly and kind, though. The surgery is up to date, with modern equipment and is kept clean. Their prices are excellent. My pet hates going there!

  We have been using Spring Corner for years. They are very professional, up-to-date and always do the best for the animal. Very reasonable rates too - bonus!

• Brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  I first went to Spring Corner in 1994 when looking for somewhere to have my cats neutered. Having rang round vets in the area,Spring corner were the cheapest. One group in the area quoted different prices depending which practise you wanted to go to ie. Bournemouth was more expensive than Swanage!! I was pleased with the care and attention they gave and have been going there ever since with a variety of pets! The vets and nurses are friendly yet professional, always putting the animals welfare first. They continue to give good value for money- check out their price's against others.

• New patients

  Our first visit today but I went for a guided tour last week. I was very impressed with the up to date equipment especially the digital xray. The place was clean and you could tell they had just finished a busy surgery. I actually observed two staff, who were unaware I was there, dealing with a dog. They were being so gentle and kind giving plenty of positive care. Their funds seem to be spent on the latest technology instead of swanky decor. Good for them, shows where their prioities are. The staff were friendly and helpful. One of our cats was quite calm about her visit there but the other was not. The vet dealt with her firmly so both escaped the visit unscathed. I do mean firmly not roughly. The cost was below what I have paid at other surgerys who cannot boast the same level of equipment. My only negative comment would be that they should do something to stop the front door banging. Hopefully our cats will stay fit and healthy but I will know they will get the best of treatment when we have to go again. Well done Spring Corner. CN and LS

• purrrrrrrfect

  i have been using spring corner for three years i find the staff all very helpful and kind,the vets are always very knowledgable and sylvia who has mostly looked after us is truley wonderful with animals. are cat is a regular visitor due to diabetes(many checkups). i also think that as vets go they are fair priced and not greedy and provide a very good service.keep up the great work you are appreciated.

• Superb!!!

  How does that figure Sarah? Spring corner is the cheapest veterinary surgery in the area...! "HT" got sand in your vaseline? The service at Spring corner is fabulous, the staff are friendly and professional. Michelle I totally agree!
