32 Station Road,
Located in a classic converted 19th century pharmacy, Isables Restaurant offer a French and English cuisine in a candlelit dining room or in the basement dining room. Some dishes from the 'a la carte menu' are ravioli filled with smoked salmon served with dill sauce, Sirloin steak topped with Stilton cheese, fillet of turbot in a butter and chive sauce.
Maybe my expectations were too high. The service was avarage no added touches. The lamb main course was burnt on the outside. Maybe I'm missing something I know it's a French restuarant but serving up french fries (Cheap!) 7 out 10 for food. We had 2 course's within 50 minutes not what I call an evening out! (Pre-book seating). Plate taken away before I had finshed my last mouthful. I could go on. Very Disappointing will not be recommending to friends.
if it's somewhere romantic you want, then this is the one....sit back and enjoy
