• Business Post Ltd Poor Service

  My wife and I were waiting for a parcel of specialised equipment to arrive from America. We missed the first delivery, didn’t hear a doorbell, but heard the failed delivery card come through the letter box and saw a ryder hire van drive away. We phoned business post to arrange for a delivery next day as promised on their card. My wife who is disabled was desperate to receive the parcel and waited all day near the front door and it did not arrive. Phoned next morning; promised delivery; again no delivery. Phoned next day, I offered to collect; told it was on the van and promised it would be delivered today; again no delivery. Phoned next day, manager said it was definitely on board for today; nothing by late afternoon; phone and manager said he will personally deliver it by taxi this evening. Nothing arrived. Had to wait until Monday to phone again, and then it arrived which was exactly a week since the first failed delivery. On the delivery details they had written that they had tried and failed to deliver the parcel on the second day (this was untrue) I would not use this company again because they have provided a very poor service, have consistently been untruthful, were unconcerned that the parcel was specialised equipment for a disabled person who was distressed without it. And business post Poole offered no apology for their actions. I would not use this company. With proper management they might improve if they have a genuine desire to provide reliable services.
